Explanation of work

It is often said in folk tales that people who wandered into the mountains experienced strange phenomena and strange experiences.
One of the stories that particularly fascinates me is about an encounter with a Tengu in the mountains, and how he successfully convinces the Tengu to let him borrow a hidden cloak and fan that he possesses with divine power.
The gourd filled with alcohol hanging from his waist and Okame-mask netsuke are my way of expressing how a ditzy Tengu was lured into giving away Items with great power.
In my work, I tried to portray an aspect of the "Tengu" that is not only awe-inspiring but also charming and somehow hard to hate.
