In Japan, fox is regarded as the incarnation of the goddess of abundant harvest, Inari. In this work, the fox and the fox girl snuggle together. I carved it in the image of guardian foxes in shrines. These two foxes are the goddess' messengers. One of my hobbies is searching Inari shrines in various areas and enjoying their guardian foxes. Among many Inari shrines in Tokyo, I like Toyokawa Inari Betsuin the best. There are many guardian foxes in that shrine. I love those foxes, and I love shrine's atmosphere, too.
