This is an amulet of the Yōkai Izuna. It will protect you from the evil.
1988: Born in Hiroshima Prefecture.
2013: Completed study at graduate school of Osaka University of Arts. Began carving netsuke after attending a lecture on the subject at university. Entered the university’s netsuke competition each year.
2012: Awarded the Prince Takamado Prize at The Fourth Prince Takamado Memorial Netsuke Competition held at Osaka University of Arts. Continues to carve netsuke under the theme, “netsuke as a magical tool.”
