2008: Completed a Masters degree in sculpture at Tokyo University of the Arts.
2019: Began carving netsuke.
Negami Kumiko is an artist who has come to exhibit biting and amusing works that question morality. The artist’s hand in the genre of netsuke is recent. We look forward to her contemporary netsuke work. She works in wood, tusk, ceramic, and other materials.
